NEW CONSTRUCTION INSPECTIONS
For Builders- Comprehensive
Builder inspections are performed throughout the construction process, from foundation through final completion. The full inspection package must be scheduled and paid in full before the foundation is poured. These inspections give you an independent inspector working for you, the homeowner, to help verify that construction is progressing in accordance with your plans and design. Inspections are performed for the client, not the contractor. Any disputes regarding workmanship, quality, or corrections remain between the property owner and general contractor. Currently available in Sublette County only.
Starting @ $1400 (Discounted for all four "For Builder" inspections)
For Builders- Foundation Inspection
Before concrete is poured, this inspection reviews the foundation layout, design, footing sizes, and reinforcement. Even when a building has not been engineered, minimum code requirements still apply to items such as rebar placement, footing dimensions, and general foundation construction. This inspection is a due diligence effort to help keep the project honest, valuable, and safe before concrete makes changes much more difficult and expensive. Currently available in Sublette County only.
$400
For Builders- Framing/PreDrywall Inspection
Before insulation and drywall are installed, this inspection provides a comprehensive check of the construction elements that will soon be concealed. We inspect accessible framing, nailing, fasteners, electrical wiring, ductwork, sheathing, air sealing, and ventilation to identify concerns while they are still visible and easier to correct. Currently available in Sublette County only.
$400
For Builders- Insulation
After insulation is installed, this inspection uses thermal imaging to help identify missing insulation, thin or inconsistent coverage, and weak areas in attic and ceiling insulation. The goal is to catch insulation deficiencies before they are covered by drywall and interior finishes, helping improve the home’s energy efficiency and performance in Wyoming’s cold climate. Currently available in Sublette County only.
$350
For Builders- Final Inspection
Similar to a standard home inspection, but specifically focused on newly constructed homes. This inspection takes a closer look at common construction practices, workmanship, installed systems, and how the completed home compares with its intended design. The goal is to identify concerns before final acceptance or closing. Currently available in Sublette County only.

BUILDING A CUSTOM HOME?
CONSIDER HIRING US AS AN OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE! Planning a custom home? Covenant Home Services can serve as your independent owner’s representative from early design through final completion. We act as your eyes on the project—reviewing construction, design details, materials, finishes, and major decisions to help ensure the home being built aligns with your plans and expectations. We coordinate milestone inspections, document critical work before it is covered up, and work alongside your contractor, architect, engineer, and other project professionals. From foundation and framing to mechanical systems, insulation, finishes, and the final walkthrough, our role is to provide independent oversight, clear communication, and another layer of protection for your investment. Because Sublette County does not provide the same residential building inspection and occupancy oversight found in many other jurisdictions, homeowners often carry more responsibility for monitoring their own construction. Owner representation provides an independent set of eyes throughout the process and can help identify concerns early, before they become expensive or difficult to correct. We cannot guarantee workmanship or replace the responsibilities of your contractor, architect, or engineer. We can, however, document concerns, communicate them clearly, and help coordinate solutions with the appropriate professionals—reducing the burden on you and helping prevent unnecessary conflict with contractors and subcontractors.
